"There are two arguments you can have about Ebola statistics. You can argue about predictions : how many people will get Ebola, how many people wil die as a result. Or you can argue about planning: how many people should we plan to have enough beds for, enough staff to treat, how many protective suits will those staff need and so on. Both arguments matter, but we can’t confuse the two because it will distract us from the urgent action we need to take to fight Ebola."
